Bulgarians travelling to Romania warned of heavy rain

Heavy rain is expected in Romania on 5 and 6 October. The national meteorological service in the country has issued an amber warning signal for a large number of regions, mostly in the central and western part of the country, the press service of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned.

Heavy rain is expected of 25 to 60 litre per square meter, with strong winds of up to 95 kms. per hour and sudden changes in the weather.

The Bulgarian embassy in Bucharest advises people travelling to Romania to find out, in advance, what the conditions along their chosen route will be.
