Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova is paying a working visit to Turkey. In Istanbul she is to hold a meeting with her Turkish counterpart Mehmet Ersoy, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports.
They will discuss cooperation in the industry which is of paramount importance for the economies of the two countries. The focus will be on the global crisis caused by Covid-19 and its effect on the tourism industry, as well as the measures for guaranteeing the safety of tourists in the two countries.
Minister Nikolova will also hold meetings with representatives of all leading tourist associations in Turkey.
