Online protest against existence of mink farms

An online protest against the breeding of minks for their fur is being organized by the association “Campaigns and activism for animals in industry”.

On the platforms of the organization the public can take part in the protest by sending a letter to the competent authorities with the demand that the activities of fur farms be terminated in the interest of public health and against animal cruelty. 

"The association has no information to date whether tests have been conducted at the mink farms, in view of the coronavirus mutation and the possible transmission of the virus from animal to human", said Petya Altimirska from the association for Radio Stara Zagora.
