“If need be escalating measures against the coronavirus will be applied, without lockdown,” Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev said in an interview for bTV. “Whatever the control applied nothing can take the place of personal responsibility. The country is not in a state of chaos as regards the paondemic,” he said.

Defence Minister Krasimir Karakachanov also commented the anti-coronavirus measures. In an interview for Nova TV he pointed out that at this stage the measures by the government are adequate.

“The minister of health is taking adequate measures. I can say that he is doing everything he can,” Minister Karakachanov commented, but added that in his opinion the state healthcare system is on the verge of collapse and private hospitals need to take a more responsible commitment.
