Pharmacists are at lowest risk of bankruptcies amid Covid-19 crisis

Economic analysts expect that in 2020 the number of bankruptcies in Bulgaria will increase by 21% as compared to 2019 as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.  Companies from almost all sectors are at risk of bankruptcy, especially those operating is the transport sector, the automotive industry, the tourism sector and the industry for manufacture of luxury goods.

 Only the IT and the pharmaceutical sectors, where higher stability has been witnessed, are not at risk of bankruptcies. Analyses show that in 2020 businesses wait 6 days longer on average, or up to 66 days, to receive payments under signed contracts, as compared to 2019, BNR reporter Natalia Ganchovska informs.
