Bulgaria develops Covid-19 vaccination plan

Bulgaria’s cabinet is proposing a contract to buy Janssen Covid-19 vaccine, a draft decision of the Council of Ministers reads. It is proposed that the Parliament approves Bulgaria’s participation in preliminary agreements for the purchase of 4 more Covid-19 vaccines manufactured by Astra Zeneca, Sanofi, Pfizer and BioNTech.

A plan for vaccination against the coronavirus in Bulgaria is currently being developed, this country’s Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov said for BTV. The European priority that vaccination will start with the most vulnerable people at the frontline will be implemented. Later, seniors will be vaccinated and then the rest of the population will receive Covid-19 vaccines, Bulgaria’s Health Minister Angelov specified.
