Bulgarian ski resorts are safe and will not close

Photo: library

The Bulgarian ski resorts of Borovets, Bansko and Pamporovo are safe after making serious investments to comply with anti-epidemic measures and ensure the safety of their guests. That is how the Ministry of Tourism responded to the calls of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to close winter resorts in the EU in the coming months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ministry says that just like in the summer, Bulgaria will rely mainly on local tourists in the winter, as well as on the guests from neighboring countries.
