After optimistic data from August and September, when job offers were close to their pre-pandemic levels with only 7% decrease, the last two months have seen a decline again.

In November alone, announcements for new openings fell by 20%, and compared to the same period last year, they shrank by 40%. Compared to February, the job offers are 36% less.
For the first time since the beginning of the crisis, there is a decline in new openings in all sectors, even in the traditionally thriving IT industry. The most affected sectors are hotels and restaurants, with a decline of 56 percent, followed by the sectors of trade and sales and logistics.
In each of the large sectors in Bulgaria the number of job offers has decreased by approximately 20%.
