Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic the Bulgarian Donors’ Forum awarded, this time online, their 15th annual awards to companies with the biggest contribution to significant social causes.

“In the conditions of crisis social responsibility by businesses is crucial to society,” said President Rumen Radev, patron of the event. “Bulgarian businesses are faced with a challenge – not just to recover from the crisis but to be actively involved in the development of the Bulgarian economy in such a way that it may meet the public’s expectations of transparency and European standards,” President Radev said, as quoted by the presidential press service. He expressed confidence that businesses will be more and more active in support of significant public causes and vulnerable groups of people.
