Lack of quorum ends the meeting in the National Assembly

The Bulgarian Parliament suspended its work due to lack of quorum in the plenary. After three checks, it was found that only 105 MPs were present at the plenary session of the National Assembly.
Before the first reading - a continuation - of changes in the law on environmental protection began, MPs from the PP-DB asked for a break, BTA reported. After the break, the group proposed that the debate on the item be postponed, but the majority rejected. PP-DB insisted on a re-voting and also to check the quorum in the hall. Once it was found that there was no such a new break was given. After it was established during the third check that there was no quorum in the hall, today's plenary session was terminated.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, at 9:00 a.m.
