In 2020, 78.9% of households in Bulgaria have access to the Internet, which is 3.8% up on 2019. 68% of households have mobile access via telephone operators, 59.4% have a fixed cable line.
The highest percentage of Internet users - 86% of all households – is in Bulgaria’s southwest, the lowest – in the northwest at 66.2%.

Women are more active than men – at 27.4% and 26.5% respectively. 15.6% say they shop online, with women shopping more than men - 16.2% and 15% respectively.
