MEP Elena Yoncheva: EP is discussing sending a mission to Bulgaria

“The European Parliament’s democracy monitoring group is discussing, on 5 February, whether to organize a mission at the end of summer to look into corruption and the rule of law in Bulgaria,” Bulgarian Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats MEP Elena Yoncheva announced. She is the only representative of Bulgaria in the 14-member monitoring group.

“The situation in Bulgaria is one of the four key issues which will be in the focus of attention of the group in the coming months,” Elena Yoncheva said for bTV.
