Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova officially opened a Bulgarian tourist representation in Warsaw.

“It will enable the two countries to intensify their constructive cooperation, and after 30 years Bulgaria is returning to the tourist market in Poland,” Minister Nikolova said. “Tourism is an economic priority for the Bulgarian government. The aim is to assert Bulgaria as a year-round destination.”

420,000 Polish citizens visited Bulgaria in 2019, and only 85,000 in 2020 when the pandemic had set in, statistics show.
