The amount of vaccines expected to be delivered in Bulgaria by the end of February will be enough for all people who want to get inoculated against Covid-19, announced BTA quoting this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev. More than 500,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines are expected in March, Dr. Kunchev pointed out.
The vaccination centers will be kept open until vaccines are administered to all people waiting to get inoculated against Covid-19, Associate Professor Angel Kunchev went on to say. At the end of March, Bulgaria will receive Janssen's vaccine, which is currently being assessed by the European Medicines Agency, said Angel Kunchev. In his words, Janssen's Covid-19 vaccine is a single dose, which will further facilitate the vaccination process.
