3,000 flights from Germany to Varna, 1,500 flights from Poland to Varna, 900 flights from the Czech Republic to Varna and 900 flights from Great Britain to Bulgaria’s marine capital have been scheduled for the forthcoming summer season. However, it is not clear yet whether all these flights will be performed, said for Radio Varna Dimitar Kostadinov, Director of Varna Airport.

Recently, we have been witnessing a very interesting trend- large European holiday operators, which work on many tourist markets, make plenty of bookings on behalf of Romanian tourists for a holiday on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, noted Stoyan Marinov from the Varna Tourism Chamber. He expects that the number of Romanian tourists on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast will be highest during the 2021 summer season .
