Bulgaria reports 1,733 new cases of Covid-19 and 505 recoveries in past day

1,733 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 12,066 tests performed. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-464, followed by Plovdiv-139 and Burgas-94, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal.

48 patients have died and 505 people have recovered in the past 24 hours.

There are 30,093 active cases of coronavirus infection at present. 4,202 patients are in hospital, as 369 of them are in intensive care units.

The Covid-19 death toll reached 10,026 since the beginning of the pandemic. Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 recoveries has reached 202,005.

20,236 people have been inoculated against Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations in this country to 168,462.
