Invasive alien plant species are introduced into Bulgaria along different channels and cause nature irreversible damage, but also inflict damage on the economy and harm human health. They cause asthma, allergies, skin diseases, undermine farming produce, cause loss of land, pastures and meadows, inflict damage on buildings, pipes, roads, cultural and historical sites.
