Businesses suspended until March 31 to receive compensation

Bulgarian Minister of Social Affairs Denitsa Sacheva has updated the order for compensations under the "Keep Me" scheme.

According to the renewed order from March 22 to 31 employees forced to go on leave from shopping malls, wholesale stores and retail stores with area of over 300 square meters can apply for compensation in the amount of 75% of the official income for the month of October due to the temporary closure of the businesses in which they are employed.

Employees in gyms, restaurants, training centers, travel companies, companies active in organizing congresses and public events, casinos, gambling halls, cinemas, theaters, museums, libraries, etc. will also be entitled to financial support until March 31, the ministry said.
