Konstantsaliata house in Arbanasi architectural and museum reserve – outside and inside view


Named after its owner – merchant Atanas Konstantsaliata - in the 17th century it was one of the wealthiest houses in the village of Arbanasi (4 kms. from the city of Veliko Turnovo).


After an earthquake destroyed it in 1913, one of Turnovo’s foremost benefactors Leon Philipov purchased the house, restored it and handed it over to the museum…
