Military officers from 10 countries arrive for military exercises in Bulgaria

From May 1st to June 20th, the Bulgarian government has allowed the passage and residence on the territory of Bulgaria of allied and foreign armed forces to conduct multinational military exercises.

The exercises will be attended by servicemen, staffs and formations with regular armaments and military equipment from Bulgaria, Albania, Great Britain, Greece, Georgia, Spain, Italy, North Macedonia, USA, Serbia and Turkey - a total of up to 6,000 people with up to 1,000 units of land equipment and up to 100 planes and helicopters. 
The exercises are planned for the Bulgarian Army, for NATO and under the Plan for Joint Bulgarian-American Military Training for 2021, the Ministry of Defence announced.
