Bulgaria’s authorities are preparing a health protocol of action in the event that tourists are diagnozed with the novel coronavirus. This became clear at a meeting between Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Stela Baltova and representatives of the tourism industry from the Southern Black Sea Coast, held in Burgas. Free of charge antibody testing will be done in Burgas district. Thus, the authorities will come to know the real number of people who have had Covid-19 and are protected against the coronavirus.
As of July 15, 480 police officers from inland districts will be sent to the Black Sea coast. The Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior has invited the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania to launch joint patrols.
The operator of Burgas Airport announced that the number of bookings by German holidaymakers has increased significantly in the past two weeks.
