The news has been reported by Bulgarian Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov at a joint briefing with European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakidou.

According to the Minister of Health, the EC will assist Bulgaria in the information campaign in order to change attitudes and raise interest in vaccination against Covid-19. Commissioner Kyriakidou pointed out that vaccination saves lives and sent a message to all Bulgarian citizens to get vaccinated so that we can return to the freedoms we had before the pandemic.

During the meeting, Minister Katsarov informed the European Commissioner about the National Anti-Cancer Plan and discussed possibilities for cooperation with the EC in the field of prevention, screening and treatment of people with oncological diseases.
