Less than 1% of daily coronavirus tests return positive result

There have been 115 new cases of coronavirus infection in this country for the past 24 hours. This is 0.57% of the 20,035 tests performed, according to the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. There are 34 new cases in the capital city of Sofia, 11 in Blagoevgrad and 10 in Sofia district. In the other districts of the country the new cases are few and no new cases have been registered in 7 districts.

Currently, there are 9,364 registered coronavirus patients as 1,517 patients are in hospital. 186 are treated in intensive care wards. Thirteen people with Covid-19 died during the past day and there were 117 recoveries.

8,102 vaccines have been administered for a day. The total number of administered vaccine doses has already reached 1,735,675 as a total of 790,901 people are fully immunized.
