Bulgaria reports 81 new cases of Covid-19 out of 16,184 tests performed

81 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 16,184 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 0.5% of the tests have returned positive result. There are 8,618 active cases of Covid-19 at present. 1,313 people are being treated in hospital 155 of them in intensive care units.

352 people have recovered and 16 have died in the past 24 hours.

11,731 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 1,785,306. 818,364 people, or 12% of this country’s population, have been fully vaccinated. Nearly 30% of Bulgaria’s medics have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.
