The national 27th commemorative march "In the footsteps of Levski" from Pleven to Karlovo this year will have a record number of participants from all over the country - 236. From 13 to 18 July they will cross the Balkan Mountain in seven rays. During the march, thematic evenings dedicated to the life and work of Bulgaria's Apostle of Freedom will be traditionally held.
The start begins with a traditional ceremony of veneration in front of the monument of the Bulgarian national hero Vassil Levski in the centre of Pleven.
