Maria Grozdeva is Bulgarian flag bearer in Tokyo

The Bulgarian delegation has taken part in the "Parade of Nations" during the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Tokyo. The two-time Olympic champion in pistol shooting Maria Grozdeva and swimmer Yosif Miladinov carried the Bulgarian flag at the opening ceremony of the Games.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Andrey Kuzmanov welcomed the Bulgarian athletes from the stands of the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

A total of 42 athletes will represent Bulgaria at the Games as six start their participation on Saturday.
