57 new Covid-19 cases reported in past day

57 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 8,650 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 0.65%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

A total of 423,686 Covid-19 cases have been reported in Bulgaria since the start of the pandemic. 7,341 is the number of the currently active cases, 716 patients with coronavirus are being treated in hospital, 77 of them in intensive care.

One person has died in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of Covid-19 deaths up to 18,194. Six people have recovered in the past day, bringing the number of recoveries to 398,151.
1,998 doses of vaccine were administered on Sunday, which leaves the total number of vaccinations in the country below 2 million - at 1,968,095. The number of people who are now fully vaccinated is 897,482.
