The caretaker government has approved the project for updating the state budget and the budgets of the State Social Security and the Health Insurance Fund. Earlier this week, the new version of key financial laws was also supported by the social partners. The project envisages 1 billion euros more revenues, as well as additional spending of 900 million euros. Additional funds have been set aside for social help, healthcare and measures to support the business.

On October 1, pensions will be raised as the average monthly pension will become 281 euros. The proposed budget updates need to be voted on by the National Assembly.
