The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is inviting ITN’s nomination for prime minister Plamen Nikolov to a general meeting of the parliamentary group and the coalition partners on Tuesday, BSP leader Kornelia Ninova announced during the celebrations at Buzludzha of the 130th anniversary of the organized socialist movement in the country. She stated it is more and more likely that a regular cabinet will be formed.

“The serious talks we held, the respect ITN demonstrated for the BSP and the need of our support in plenary give us grounds to say that without the BSP there will be no stable government,” Kornelia Ninova pointed out. In her words, as a member of ITN’s negotiating team in the sphere of education, ITN’s nomination for prime minister Plamen Nikolov demonstrated competence and a willingness for dialogue, but that is not enough.
