Bulgaria reports 176 new cases of Covid-19 out of 6,436 tests performed

176 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 6,436 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 2.73% of the tests have returned positive result. The highest number of new cases of Covid-19 was reported in Sofia-53, followed by Varna district-28 and Burgas district-13. No new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Vidin, Kyustendil, Montana, Shumen and Yambol districts.

There are 10,907 active cases of Covid-19 at present. 1,059 patients are being treated in hospital, 99 of them in intensive care wards. 3 people have died and 13 people have recovered in the past 24 hours.

2,331 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 2,093,630. The number of people who are now fully vaccinated is 1,037,146.
