Petar Iliev not planning to withdraw from position of Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior nominee

Petar Iliev who was nominated by ITN party for the position of Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, has no intention of stepping down. “I am a victim of backstage players and the media close to these circles”, Petar Iliev said in an interview for Nova TV and added that he had never met with Delyan Peevski and Georgi Gergov.

“I am not a member of There is Such a People party. However, I have been working together with Slavi Trifonov and his team since the time we organized the national referendum”, said Petar Iliev and added that he was not a member of a masonic lodge. Petar Iliev rejected the accusations of plagiarism in his books on constitutional law.
