Three Bulgarian citizens killed in helicopter crash in Côte d'Ivoire

Three Bulgarian citizens have been killed in the military helicopter accident in Côte d'Ivoire, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced. Reports of the accident surfaced a few days ago but no information about casualties. Via the Bulgarian embassy in Nigeria, through unofficial channels, confirmation has been obtained that the three were killed in the Mi-24 combat helicopter crash on 10 September. Their families have been notified.

The Bulgarian embassy in Nigeria is in contact with the authorities of Côte d'Ivoire which are investigating the accident. They are still expected to officially confirm the death of the Bulgarian citizens.
