Nearly 5,000 Covid-19 patients are treated in Bulgarian hospitals

There were 2,192 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria in the past day. This is 9.8% of 22,276 tests, according to data from the Single Coronavirus Information Portal.

There were 387 new cases in Sofia, followed by Plovdiv - with 167, and Burgas - with 153 cases. The number of hospitalized patients has already reached 4,935 and 405 of them are in intensive care. 58 Covid-19 patients passed away and 1,030 patients recovered.

10,071 doses of vaccine were administered on Tuesday. The number of people with completed vaccination cycle has reached 1,289,055.
