Literary routes in the footsteps of famous artists tell curious stories of their lives

Sofia residents and guests of the capital can find exciting stories from the lives of famous Bulgarian artists by joining city walks, united under the name "Autumn Literary Routes".
Pre-registration is not required to participate. The routes are in the open and are in compliance with anti-epidemic measures.

On September 23 there will be a meeting with the youngest lovers of knowledge and books. The organizers have prepared a real adventure for them. With the help of their guide in the world of illustration - writer Mila Yaneva-Tabakova, children will get acquainted with the intricacies of the work of the illustrator, as well as with the stories of some of the characteristic images in periodicals. The life, creativity and personality of the poet, artist and first director of the Bulgarian Radio - Sirak Skitnik, is the topic of a tour on September 29. On October 5, we will dive into the past along the route called "Walk in Draz neighborhood" dedicated to various artists who were born and lived in one of the oldest quarters of the city, including writer Pavel Vezhinov, artist Vladimir Dimitrov-The Master and other famous Bulgarians.
