Associations of catering establishments, representatives of the tourism sector and the retail centers are to hold a nationwide protest on Thursday, October 28. They are to protest against the new anti-epidemic measures introduced by this country’s caretaker cabinet and in particular- the mandating of the Covid-19 Green Certificate. In their words, the green certificate discriminates Bulgarians.

The Chairperson of the Association of Hotel and Restaurant Owners in Velingrad and the Western Rhodopes Zlatko Zlatanov insists that the authorities introduce a full lockdown and provide financial compensations to the affected businesses. “The situation is extremely difficult, because the authorities are neither closing our business, nor providing financial aid”, Zlatko Zlatanov said.
