China Cultural Center in Bulgaria marks 4th anniversary

Four years ago, the China Cultural Center opened in Sofia. "The idea for the establishment of such a center in Bulgaria is the geographical location of the country and the desire of China to develop cultural relations with the whole of Central and Eastern Europe through Bulgaria," Dzhina Balareva, project coordinator at the cultural center has told BNR’s Hristo Botev program. The pandemic has somewhat disrupted the pace of cultural exchange, Guan Xin, cultural counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Sofia, said.
