Bulgaria will provide funding for three new medicines used for the treatment of Covid-19. Today, Bulgaria's government adopted a decree which allows this country to buy the following three medicines for the treatment of Covid-19: Molnupiravir, Regkirona and Anakinra.
Molnupiravir is an oral antiviral medicine, for the treatment of mild-to-mederate Covid-19 in adults who are at risk for progressing to severe Covid-19 and/or hospitalization. Regkirona is a medicine used for treating Covid-19 in adults who do not require supplemental oxygen and who are at increased risk of their disease becoming severe. Anakinra is a medicine used for the treatment of coronavirus disease in adult patients with pneumonia who are at risk of developing severe respiratory failure
