On December 6th, all students from 1st to 12th grade will return to school, the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov has announced. They will be tested once a week with the available tests.

"Experts believe that instead of double testing, one-time testing can be done at the beginning of the week," the minister said. Morbidity among children and students under 19 years of age is extremely low. The results of the tests in the schools in the previous 2 weeks show a low percentage of positive results, Minister Katsarov added.

If half of the students in a class do not agree to be tested, the children must continue to study online.

The Ministry of Education said that more than 150,000 tests were needed in order for all students to return to class by December 6, even if children were tested only once a week.
