NATO’s Tailored Forward Presence in Romania and Bulgaria must continue. It is important to the security in the Black Sea region, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Todor Churov during a conference in Sofia dedicated to the future of trans-Atlantic relations.

“This trans-Atlantic connection must be demonstrated, most of all by way of frequent joint exercises, the presence of ships, including from the US. The NATO member-countries must help Ukraine and Georgia. This country’s contribution will be the proposal for Bulgaria to host the regional naval component of the NATO Allied Maritime Command. We must be ready for any scenario,” Todor Churov said.
