A state of emergency was declared in the municipalities of Rudozem, Nedelino and Borino in Smolyan district. Rivers overflowed their banks and flooded some road sections after torrential rain lashed the region. A partial state of emergency was declared in the village of Trigrad, Devin Municipality, the correspondent of the BNR in Smolyan Radostina Chernokova informed.
More than 10 settlements in Smolyan district, including the villages of Yagodina, Byunovo and Kozhari, were left without electricity.
