Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 17 December 2021

Clouds and snow expected on Friday

The weather on Friday will be cloudy and windy. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the northwest, in the eastern regions it will be from the northeast. During the day in some places in Central and Eastern Bulgaria there will be snowfalls. The lowest temperatures will be between minus 3 and 2 °C. The maximum will range from 1 to 6 °C, for the region of Sofia - up to 2 °C.

It will also be cloudy and windy over the mountains. There will be significant snowfalls in the Stara Planina Mountain Range, where there will be conditions for snowdrifts. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be around minus 1 °C, at 2,000 m - to minus 7 °C.
On Saturday, with the exception of the Black Sea coast, snowfall is expected over the whole country.
