Economist predicts high inflation over the next 5 years

Inflation, not the coronavirus epidemic, will be the bigger problem next year, Stoyan Panchev of the Expert Club for Economics and Politics predicted in an interview for the BNR. He clarified that high inflation will accompany us in the next five years. "November ended with 7.3% inflation - something that has not been seen in Bulgaria for a long time," said the economist.

According to him, we are moving towards a second state budget with a serious deficit, a rising debt and an energy system that suffers from serious problems - most of which are imported.
