The pandemic would come to an end this year, Prof. Radka Argirova, advisor to the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov on the Covid-19 pandemic told the BNT. "There could be another strain after Omicron, but then we would be able to return to our normal way of life," Argirova said.

Despite the optimistic forecast, she added that the time for considering Covid similar to flu epidemic has not come yet. In Spain, the authorities made such a decision a few days ago, but the situation in Bulgaria does not allow this to happen.
