30 km/h speed limit zone established in part of Sofia

"Zone 30" will be introduced in Sofia from the beginning of February - the first zone with a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour, BNR reporter Evelina Stoyanova informed. The zone will be marked by the the boulevards "Pencho Slaveykov", "Prague", "General Skobelev" and "Vitosha". Dimitar Petrov from the Traffic Management and Analysis Directorate at the Sofia Municipality told BNR that this was one of the measures implemented to reduce road fatalities.
