According to data from the Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, published today, all areas in Bulgaria are already in the dark red Covid-19 zone. The highest incidence of Covid-19 is in Sofia – 2,549 per hundred thousand people as of January 30, followed by Blagoevgrad district – 2,262 per hundred thousand, Sofia district – 2,105 per hundred thousand, Stara Zagora district – 2,062 per hundred thousand, Pernik district – 2,001 per hundred thousand, Burgas district – 2,000 per hundred thousand.
The lowest number of registered cases of Covid-19 is in Kardzhali district - 514 per hundred thousand and in Razgrad district - 580 per hundred thousand people. Most of the infected are in the age group of 40 to 49.
According to the map of the epidemic situation, divided into five regions according to the occupancy of intensive care beds in hospitals, only the districts of Silistra, Dobrich, Varna, Razgrad, Shumen and Targovishte are in the second of four possible stages.
