Prime Minister Petkov signs declaration in support of Ukraine's European perspective

At the Munich Security Conference, Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a joint declaration in support of Ukraine's European perspective. Petkov and Zelensky expressed concerns that the situation between Russia and Ukraine could be a threat to energy security, but also expressed hope for de-escalation of tensions in the region, the government's press service reported.

At a meeting between Petkov and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, bilateral relations and opportunities for education and retaining young people in both countries were discussed.
