Evacuation of Bulgarians from Ukraine continues

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing its utmpost to provide a corridor for evacuation of Bulgarians from Kyiv. The Bulgarian Embassy in Kyiv is in constant contact with the Bulgarian nationals. Two more busses with 110 Bulgarians left Odessa after the removal of restrictions on movement, the Spokesperson for Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mitko Dimitrov said.

A bus with 27 Bulgarians crossed the Isakca-Orlivka border checkpoint at the Romania-Ukraine border, Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Romania Radko Vlaykov said for the BNR.

Two buses and dozens of cars with Ukrainian refugees entered Bulgaria via the Durankulak-Vama Veche border crossing on February 27. One of the busses was covering the regular bus line Odessa-Varna-Odessa and the second one was sent by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
