Citizens gathered in front of the Monument to the Soviet Army in Sofia and painted it with inscriptions. The inscriptions read "Occupiers", "Assassins", "Glory to Ukraine" and "Putin out". One of the bas-reliefs is painted in the colors of the Ukrainian national flag.
Representatives of the initiative which aims to remove the monument from the central part of Sofia also joined the protest. Dissidents glued posters of President Vladimir Putin.
The police did not intervene. Several days ago, the police arrested three minors who wrote an inscription that reads “Save Ukraine”.
