All Bulgarians who have expressed a desire to leave Ukraine will be evacuated, even though the Bulgarian diplomatic mission has left Ukraine. This will happen in cooperation with the representations of our EU and NATO partners, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska said for Nova TV.

Minister Genchovska clarified that the Situation Centre of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is open 24 hours a day and Bulgarians from Kyiv and Kharkiv can be evacuated. We are trying to group the people willing to leave Ukraine, because this country’s territory is huge. The number of people requesting evacuation has drastically decreased, Teodora Genchovska explained.

The sanctions against Russia are being discussed within the European Union only, Minister Genchovska explained.
