The Bulgarian government is preparing a plan to provide a resource of fuels, based on the worst-case scenario for the war in Ukraine, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the political party "We continue the change", Andrey Gyurov, told BNR.

"We have secured deliveries with tankers at the site of Lukoil - there the facilities are being reconfigured to work with non-Russian oil," he explained. In addition, work is under way to build the link with Greece and secure additional gas supplies through two other points.
At the moment there is no problem with the quantities of fuels in Bulgaria, the Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov told Nova TV. According to him, in the medium and long term it is possible that the price of fuels will exceed BGN 3 per litre. However, if the war in Ukraine is stopped, this will not happen.
A fuel price ceiling is not a measure being discussed, the minister added.
